Two good Samaritans dive into the waters near Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara to rescue a drowning man. A witness tells KEY News the man was getting out of his row boat and climbing the stairs adjacent to the pier when he fell in on Saturday afternoon. Robert Laurel from Santa Maria jumped in, followed by 12-year-old Carlos Montes of Ventura. Laurel and Montes held on to the man and kept his head above water, until Harbor Patrol arrived. The victim was transported to Cottage Hospital and is expected to survive. KEY News reporter Alys Martinez has the story.
