Love can hurt. But divorce can hurt even more, especially if you are a celebrity. Here are some of the stars' most expensive splits.
When Lionel Richie's wife Diane filed for divorce in 2004 after nine years of marriage, she demanded $300,000 a month, including $15,000 for clothes and $50,000 for manicures, massages and other personal services. Richie must have nearly been dancing on the ceiling when they settled for $20 million.
After 15 years of marriage, Ivana Trump had enough when she found out about Donald Trump's affair with Marla Maples. The pair divorced in 1992 with Ivana getting $25 million of The Donald's fortune. He learned his lesson when he married Maples in 1993, signing a prenuptial agreement that eventually limited Maples to between $1 to $5 million when they divorced six years later.
