United Health Foundation's 2014 "America's Health Rankings Senior Report" provides a state-by-state snapshot of how healthy seniors are and what types of health care resources they have available.
The report tracked the health of U.S. adults 65 and older across 34 different measures of individual and community health, including rates of obesity, physical activity, smoking, chronic diseases like diabetes and death rates among seniors per state, and access to food, health care providers and prescription drug coverage.
