The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has released its annual "Dirty Dozen" list, which ranks produce most likely to be contaminated with pesticides. EWG analyzed pesticide residue testing data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Food and Drug Administration to come up with the rankings for these popular fresh produce items.

When if comes to "food for thought" Santa Barbara City College was dishing it out this week for students who did not come to school alone in a car. Any other way, was enough to get them a free breakfast. The special event was held Thursday morning and the school was prepared to serve hundreds of hungry students.
