Preterm birth rates have dropped for the sixth year in a row nationwide, but they remain high in these 10 states with the worst premature birth rates, according to this year's March of Dimes Premature Birth Report Card.
10. Washington, D.C. (12.8 percent preterm birth rate in 2011)
San Luis Obispo police arrested three individuals after receiving a call from the Manteca Police Department that a 15-year-old Manteca girl was being held against her will inside a hotel room in the 1800 block of Monterey Street.
