The Newtown Sandy Hook Foundation, which oversees the $11.4 million in donations raised since the Dec. 14 shooting, has stated that the families of 20 children and six adults killed in the school shooting each will receive $281,000 in donations.
The foundation also decided that the families of 12 children who witnessed and survived the attack at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December each will get $20,000. The two teachers who were injured will split $150,000.
