Huma Abedin is taking some criticism for standing by her husband, New York mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner, who's in trouble again for sending sexually-explicit texts and photos more than a year after resigning from Congress for the same dubious habits. Here's a look at other jilted wives who have stood by the cheating men in their lives:
Deanna Favre -- She's stuck with her NFL star husband Brett Favre through rumors of cheating, including when he made headlines in 2010 for allegedly sending racy texts and photos to ex-New York Jets sidelines reporter Jenn Sterger. He was also later sued for sexual harassment stemming from conduct toward at least two women who worked for the Jets in 2008.
Victoria Beckham -- Allegations of cheating have haunted this marriage for years, but that hasn't kept Posh Spice from sticking with her soccer star husband David Beckham. The couple has three children together.
Silda Spitzer -- Despite former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer's fall from grace over prostitution charges, Silda has not given up on her husband of 26 years, who is now running for city controller in New York.
Hillary Clinton -- In one of the most notorious examples of "standing by your man," the former secretary of state stood by Bill Clinton through several allegations of cheating and sexual misconduct, including the Monica Lewinsky scandal he was impeached over.
Demi Moore -- She stuck by her much younger husband, Ashton Kutcher, when rumors of cheating first surfaced in 2011, although the pair are now divorced.
Regina Lasko -- Late night talk show host David Letterman shocked many when he confessed to sexual relationships with female members of his staff before a live audience in October 2009, but likely no one more than his newlywed wife, Regina Lasko. The pair had just married in March that year, although they are still together and "working on their marriage."
Vanessa Bryant -- It looked like Lakers star Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa were destined for Splitsville following allegations of Kobe's extramarital affairs, but announced earlier this year they are staying together.
Gloria Cain -- After a number of women came forward with allegations of cheating and sexual harassment against her husband, GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain, she spoke out, saying she believed him and planned to stick by her hubby's side.
Elizabeth Edwards -- Stricken by cancer, she watched her her husband John's downward spiral in politics begin with rumors of infidelity in 2007, a cheating confession in 2008 and another confession in 2010 to fathering a child from that affair. She intended to divorce him, but died from breast cancer in late 2010.
Tammy Faye Bakker -- She stuck with her televangelist hubby Jim Bakker even after a sex scandal involving Jessica Hahn, a secretary in their Praise The Lord ministry. He eventually resigned as head of the organization, replaced by Jerry Falwell.
Frances Swaggart -- One of the fiercest critics when the Jimmy Bakker scandal broke, televangelist Jimmy Swaggart was later caught up in two prostitution scandals himself -- one in 1988 and another in 1991 -- but his wife Frances has stuck by him through all of it.
Lee Ludwig Hart -- Democratic presidential hopeful Gary Hart's wife has stuck with him through 55 years of thick and thin, including reports of an affair between Hart and 29-year-old Donna Rice during his 1988 presidential run. Following the reports, the National Enquirer published photographs of Rice sitting on Hart's lap aboard a yacht. Five days later, Hart dropped out of the race.
Actresses Brie Larson and Saoirse Ronan were honored Monday night with the 31st Santa Barbara International Film Festival Outstanding Performers Award. Larson was unable to attend the event in person but Skyped in.
Elizabeth Banks, Paul Dano, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Geza Rohrig, Alicia Vikander and Jacob Tremblay were all honored with the SBIFF Virtuosos Award on Saturday. The event was moderated by Dave Karger and the awards presented by Leonard Maltin.
