Los Angeles Lakers basketball star Steve Nash allegedly refuses to pay his ex-wife more child support because he is worried that she will spoil their children.

Nash believes his former wife, Alejandra Amarilla, is already getting enough money and that if she gets any more, his three children may suffer.

Much of the kids' medical, school, and extracurricular activities are already paid for by Nash, reports TMZ.

An Arizona judge ruled in his favor, but Amarilla is currently appealing the decision.

The couple have been embroiled in a bitter child support battle ever since announcing their split in 2010, just one day after the birth of their son. Nash announced the birth of Matteo and that he and Amarilla were getting a divorce in the same public statement.
