A college graduate ended up with a "cat" drawn on her photo cake instead of a "cap" following a bakery mix-up.
When 22-year-old Laura Gambrel graduated from Indiana University, her mother ordered a picture of her face, a scroll and the school's colors on a cake for her graduation party.
She also requested that the bakery draw a graduation cap on her daughter's head.
But a bakery staff member thought she said "cat" instead of "cap," and drew a black feline with white whiskers atop Gambrel's head.
"When my mom got to the store and started laughing they tried to wipe off the cat and put on a plastic cap, but she told them to keep it," Gambrel told "Good Morning America."
A photo of the cake posted to Reddit has since gone viral online.
"My mom ordered a graduation cake with a cap drawn on. I guess they misheard," Gambrel wrote on the site.
