Passenger accused of punching flight attendant ... twice
A California man is accused of twice punching a flight attendant who refused to serve him on a Los Angeles-bound flight from the Philippines.
Edgar Nonga, 53, was charged with interfering with a flight crew in the crazed attack over the weekend.
He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
According to prosecutors, Nonga got drunk during the flight and had to be subdued by five men.
Police officers hauled him off the plane in zip ties after the plane landed at Los Angeles International Airport early Sunday, Los Angeles TV station KTLA reported.
