Smart cars tipped in San Francisco
San Francisco authorities are searching for vandals who flipped at least four Smart cars in two different neighborhoods Monday night.
All four cars ended up with shattered windows and some body damage, police told The Associated Press.
Weighing 1,600 pounds, the cars are fairly easy to flip, according to CNN.
But just because it's easy to do doesn't mean it should be done -- according to CNN, car tipping is considered felony vandalism.
Authorities aren't sure whether the car flipping was a prank or another sign of anger among some residents about rising costs of living in the area, police told the AP.
Police are looking for people who were seen in the area wearing black hooded sweatshirts at the time the cars were tipped, according to the AP.
