Smelly cat

A cat was returned to a shelter after it's owners claimed he was too flatulent.

Lenny was brought to Scottsville Veterinary Hospital and Pet Adoptions in Rochester, N.Y. as a stray. The shelter nursed him back to health and he was adopted out in March, but was returned after living with his new family for only two days.

His owners claim that Lenny "farts all the time," reported the Democrat & Chronicle.

Scottville's adoptions directors Jessica Giehl said that since Lenny has been back at the shelter, he has not had any problems with gas. They did, however, nickname him "Smelly Cat."

The cat has now found a new home.
