Pop Up Film Festival at The Arlington Theatre

Festival offers movie-goers documentaries with strong points of view

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

Several controversial films were shown throughout the day Thursday in Santa Barbara. It was part of the Pop Up Film Festival.

The festival featured Sharon Stone's new documentary, "Femme" which was followed by a question and answer session.

The movie features interviews with 100 influential women from around the world.  The final film shown was “A Womb With a View."

Organizer Daniel Bollag said the Pop Up Film Festival moves around.

Bollag said the festival showcases films that may not be seen at larger festivals.

He said every film presented enlightened film goers .

The other films in the lineup included "Frank and Chip," "No Burqas Behind Bars," "Let There Be Light, " "Sinner, " "Blood Ganja"
