OXNARD, Calif. -

Oxnard police are looking for a shooter who they say shot two people Monday night.

The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. on the 600 block of Devonshire Drive.  Witnesses at the scene say three to four Hispanic men confronted a man and woman in the area.  Words were exchanged, and then a Hispanic man started shooting at the man and woman.

Police say, the 18-year-old woman received a single gunshot wound to the back, and the 19-year-old man was shot several times.  Both victims were transferred to the hospital and are expected to survive.
