SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

The University of California, Santa Barbara soccer player arrested for shoving a referee has changed his plea.

Peter McGlynn pleaded no contest  for battery on a sports official, and for resisting a peace officer.

A judge agreed to put off sentencing for 6 months.
