The Santa Barbara coastline is getting national attention.
On Sunday night, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici from "The Bachelor" got married on live TV at the Four Seasons Biltmore Resort in Santa Barbara.
NewsChannel 3 met up with Sean and Catherine the morning of their wedding.
"It's been a wild ride, it really feels surreal. It feels like a dream when I look back," said Sean Lowe.
Sean and his bride Catherine are sharing their wedding day with millions of their fans.
"I'm excited for everybody to see really what happens when the people they have been watching for this long, get married. So I am just really really excited for everybody to see," said Catherine Giudici.
"It's live TV, I love it, that's the way live TV should be. People at home have watched this love story, they have gone through this journey with them and so now I want you to be there and not miss a thing," said "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison
Catherine and Sean say Santa Barbara is the perfect location for their wedding because of its central location.
"We didn't really want to have it in one of our hometowns just because it's like a new family that we are making, not that we are living here or anything but we just wanted to make it separate from that, and just the elements that are here are so beautiful, and Seattle may be able to offer that, but not in this manner," said Giudici.
"Well Santa Barbara may be the prettiest place on earth, it's gorgeous the weather is perfect year round. We have the beautiful ocean right outside and the Four Seasons Biltmore is just absolutely incredible so we couldn't ask for a better venue or prettier place to get married. I know all our friends from Seattle and Dallas really love meeting here in Santa Barbara," said Lowe.
Even though the couple choose sunny Santa Barbara instead of rainy Seattle as their wedding location, hours before their I dos, rain threatened their wedding.
"First of all tell me about the rain. It hasn't rained in California in forever, and it's raining today. How does this happen?" said Harrison.
"Obviously there are a lot of people that hope it doesn't rain, because it is outside, if it happens I don't care. It doesn't change the fact that I'm getting married," said Giudici.
"At the end of the day, Sean and Catherine will put rings on each others fingers and go to the honeymoon suite and that is where the fun begins," said Harrison.
The wedding is being broadcast at 8 Sunday night Pacific Standard Time. If you missed it, ABC will also put it on their website, abc.com
