Stolen van crashed in Ventura

VENTURA, Calif. -

A gas leak was caused by a stolen van that crashed on Thille Street, near a mobile home park in Ventura.

It happened around 8p.m. Sunday .

Firefighters found a 500-gallon tank of biofuel leaking inside the crashed van.  Investigators said hoses inside the van made it seem like the tank was being used to steal gas.

Crews worked to mop up the area before the to fuel flowed into a nearby storm drain.
