ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. -

A family is left homeless after a fire ripped through their house in Arroyo Grande.

Multiple agencies were called to the fire Monday morning on the 500 block of Platino Lane, east of the Village of Arroyo Grande.  When they got there, they found the home completely engulfed in flames.

The family was home at the time with out-of-town guests.  All seven of them were safely evacuated.

The total cost of the damage is not known, but Five Cities Fire reports that the home was completely destroyed.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
