Immigrates who are in the country illegally could soon get a Driver's License. Governor Jerry Brown says he would sign the legislation into law.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

A bill that could clear the way for undocumented aliens to obtain a driver's license has legislative support and will likely be signed by the Governor.

NewsChannel 3 spoke with a Santa Barbara agency that helps immigrants, and also some local workers who explained the value of having a license and the opportunity to drive to their jobs or bring their children to school.

The state says if Governor Jerry Brown signs the bill, about 2 million more people could be going to the DMV for a license.
