Parole was granted for convicted killer and former Charles Manson associate Bruce Davis Wednesday.
The hearing was held at California Men’s Colony in San Luis Obispo. The California Department of Corrections issued the grant for the 71-year-old during his 28th parole hearing. If the grant is finalized at the end of decision review, Gov. Jerry Brown has an opportunity to block the decision.
Brown blocked this decision two times before. Davis was sent to state prison back in 1972 when he was convicted for the 1969 murder of Gary Hinman and the murder of Donald "Shorty" Shea.
