Incident happened in university library

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -

A former Cal Poly professor has been sentenced to three years probation for exposing himself in the university library last year.

The San Luis Obispo Tribune says says 51-year-old Shaun Kelly lost his job as an associate professor in the bioresource and agricultural engineering department after he was charged with indecent exposure.

Two different women said they saw Kelly exposing and touching himself in the university library in 2012.

After his misdemeanor conviction last week, Kelly will have to register as a sex offender while on probation, submit to search and seizures and cooperate in counseling and education programs.
