Inmate Escapes from Lompoc Prison Camp

The inmate is identified as Jeffrey Kilbride, 48, of Venice, California. Officials say Kilbride was discovered missing at 1:30 p.m. He is 5' 11'', 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen in a white, four-door sedan.

LOMPOC, Calif. -

Authorities at the Federal Bureau of Prisons say an inmate escaped from a minimum security area at the Prison Camp in Lompoc Friday afternoon.

The inmate is identified as Jeffrey Kilbride, 48, of Venice, California. Officials say Kilbride was discovered missing at 1:30 p.m. He is 5' 11'', 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen in a white, four-door sedan.  

Kilbride is serving a 78-month sentence for conspiracy and fraud and was scheduled to be released on December 11, 2015.

Prison officials say Kilbride has no history of violence and are currently searching for him. If you see him, you are urged to call police.
