Heroin, Meth and Money Found At Automotive Business

Police make one arrest

CARPINTERIA, Calif. -

Santa Barbara police officers said they confiscate heroin, meth and money at an automotive business. 

They served a search warrant at Beach Motor and Tires in Carpinteria on Tuesday. 

During a search Sgt. Dan Mcrew said they found 6 ounces of heroine, 9 grams of methamphetamine and $50,000. 

They also arrested the owner's son Renee Zuniga.  Zuniga, who is out on parole, was booked on possession for sale of both substances.

The car shop is at a former gas station on the 4800 block of Carpinteria Avenue.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff detectives also were involved in the drug bust operation.
