CAMARILLO, Calif. -

After years of waiting swimmers and water polo players can practice in their own pool at Adolfo Camarillo High.

The pool opened Tuesday in Camarillo. To mark the occasion Principal Glen Lipman and many others jumped in fully-clothed.

The $4 million Scorpian aquatic center will now be able to host competitions.

The Oxnard Union High School District is building another new pool at Hueneme High that will open later this year.

Time will tell if Hueneme's principal jumps in.
