The Santa Barbara City Transit is making it a little easier to plan your bus travel around town with new technology.
There is a new touch screen kiosk at the transit center on Chapala Street in Santa Barbara.
ConnectPoint is a spec pilot project developed by the local company CHK America.
Passengers can interact with maps, route schedules, and much more to help plan their trip with just the touch of a finger.
For those who have used it before, they say it's made traveling much easier and less stressing.
"It will also show you destinations of that particular bus whether it be the three or four where it goes in town," said bus customer Jeanie Schneider. "And it will also help you plan a trip and transfer to different buses so I found it very useful."
Another cool feature: you can plan a route out either by foot, car, or bus and have it emailed or texted to your phone.
