A unique concept store has opened in Santa Barbara that could keep thousands of bottles from going into landfills.
The Refillery is located at 3016 De la Vina Street a block from State St.
The owners want you to bring in your own bottle or buy one from their selection.
There are large pump bottles full of personal products you can choose from and fill your bottles up, by the ounce.
The store specializes in personal products such as eco-friendly shampoo, hand sanitizer, soap, body wash and laundry detergent.
There are also 50 fragrances you can add to your bottle or keep it unscented.
"You can customize it," said owner Lacey Grevious. "Make it however you want it to smell which is really fun. It makes it a great gift because then you get to personalize it for a friend if you know what they like and make something unique . You can also do it time and time again for yourself."
There are also pet products and if you bring in your burnt out candle, the glass jar gets you a dollar off another candle purchase.
