SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

Following a night of strong winds, Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation crews were out early cleaning up.

Dry conditions and the first real winds storm of the season created a mess along much of Santa Barbara's waterfront. Palm fronds littered several miles of the coast, in parks and on streets.

Crews cleaned up piles of debris from Shoreline Park to the bird refuge and along Cabrillo Blvd.

Meteorologist say the worst of the wind is behind us, for now. Another round may arrive this weekend.
