Students at Santa Maria High School got at a glance at their future if they take school seriously.

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -

The second annual " March of the Saints" was held at Santa Maria High School. More than 1,200 students participated in walking around the football field where they were able to meet former classmates who went off to college and made the most of what the school had to offer.

Over 30 booths were set up along the field with colleges, school activities and alumni, who were encouraging students to see what college had to offer and how to start making those choices. Principal Jose Domingues says that it's a great way to network with college students and know that if one person can do it so can they.

The program involved teachers taking their classes to the presentations where students were allowed to roam around and discover their interest. Once students obtained all the information they needed, it was back to class where they continued questions and discussion about the future.
