Forest Service launches campaign to raise awareness of fires created by sparks

This year's fire season has already had 13 wildfires sparked by equipment, trimmers, chain saws and mowers. The Forest Service has started a Spark Fire Prevention Campaign to address those numbers.

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. -

There have been 13 wildfires this season started by sparks from trucks chains, trimmers, chainsaws, and catalytic converters.  

The Forest Service is campaigning to raise awareness on how to prevent these types of fires.
