GOLETA, Calif. -

One man is under arrest and charged with breaking into a Goleta jewelry store Thursday.

One of the suspects is 20-year-old Eriberto Garcia from Buellton and the sheriff’s department is still searching for another man suspected of being involved.

Deputies were called to a barber shop and jewelry store on the 5800 block of Hollister Avenue just after midnight.

The barber shop had a window broken out. Authorities shut down part of the freeway near Fairview as they searched for the second suspect.

Garcia was arrested and charged with burglary, vandalism, obstructing and resisting a peace officer and a criminal street gang enhancement.

The investigation is ongoing.
