Two Santa Barbara men face multiple felonies connected to a sexual assault that lasted more than eight hours.

The unidentified victim, 28, from Santa Barbara told police she was held against her will and repeatedly raped at a home on the 200 block of N. Milpas Street.

The alleged sexual assault happened on Oct. 23, 2013 at the suspects' home. The victim and one of her friends went to the home to drink beers. The friend abruptly left the home, leaving the victim alone with Ubaldo De La Cruz-Gonzalez, 29, and Carlos Rojas-Villafana, 43.

The victim told investigators she tried to leave the house about 10:40 p.m. but was forcefully stopped and repeatedly sexually assaulted until 7 a.m. the next morning.

The woman said she managed to escape by convincing De La Cruz-Gonzalez that she had to be at work.

Instead, the victim went to police accompanied by an advocate from the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center.

Officers arrested both men Frida at the auto detailing business where they worked.

De La Cruz-Gonzalez was booked into county jail on charges that include, rape by force, oral copulation by force and penetration with a foreign object by force.

Rojas-Villafana was booked into county jail on charges that include, assault with the intent to commit rape, penetration with a foreign object by force and sexual battery while the victim retrained.
