A train exhibit helps raise money for Parkinsons Disease research.

A unique scale model train exhibit will be open this weekend in Montecito to raise money for the Santa Barbara County Parkinson's Association.

The trains are located on the Siegel property and have features rarely seen with home train exhibits.

They include bridges, tunnels, small pine trees, loading areas, multiple tracks and creative scenery along the routes.   The tracks traverse the sprawling yard.

Inside the multi car garage there are more trains, and a Virginia and Kentucky back drop.

The event is open to the public with a $5 fee.  The fundraiser will include root beer floats, hot dogs, a raffle and Parkinson's awareness information.   The disease is growing in California and the older demographics are facing the challenge more than ever.

The home is located at 1143 Camino Viejo, Montecito.  The fundraiser takes place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
