Santa Barbara International Film Festival Plays Host to Spanish Film

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

In the final days of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival more movies are set to make their debut. 'Violet,' directed by Spanish film maker Luiso Berdejo will premiere Friday night. The film was shot in Los Angeles, Spain, and a bit in Santa Barbara.

'Violet' will play three times during the festival. For more information on the 29th edition of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and for ticket information visit the festivals events page: CLICK HERE

'Violet' Synopsis:

Alex is a Spanish boy living in Santa Monica, California. One day he finds an old Polaroid picture of a girl he falls madly in love with and sets out to find her, despite having no clues as to who she is or when the picture was taken. The search will bring him closer not only to the grandfather he loved so much — dead now for many years— but also to the darkest corners of his soul. (Abridged and adapted from San Sebastian International Film Festival)
