Wind change knocks down paraglider

Ventura paraglider rescue
VENTURA, Calif. -

A sudden wind changed knocked down a paraglider Thursday in Ventura.

It happened around 4:45 p.m. on the hillside above Cedar and Kellogg street. Ventura City Fire Department, Ventura police and AMR were on scene to help the man out of the brush.

The paraglider had minor injuries from his fall and was able to walk back to the top of the hill. He was not transported to the hospital.
