Ronald Reagan is elected President in 1981. In 1987, Reagan made a famous speech at the Berlin wall asking Mr. Gorbachev to "tear down the wall."
George W. Bush becomes President in 2001, 12 years after his father is first elected President.
Iraq War begins in 2003.
Most recently, John McCain and Sarah Palin concede the 2008 Presidential election.
