CIF Southern Section basketball, water polo playoff pairings announced

High school basketball and girls water polo postseason parings have been announced.
Several local teams are headed to the postseason.
Out of the Channel League, Santa Barbara, San Marcos, Dos Pueblos and Ventura have playoff games.
Santa Barbara won the Channel League and will host Beverly Hills from the Ocean League. San Marcos will host Palos Verdes and Dos Pueblos will host Norwalk in the first round.
Santa Maria is the fourth seed out of the Los Padres League. The Saints will travel to Sonora High School for their postseason opener.
Ventura received an at-large bid out of the Channel league and will play a very good West Ranch team Friday night.

Girls Water Polo:
Santa Barbara, Dos Pueblos and San Marcos girls water polo are all headed for post season play. The Santa Barbara Dons are the top seed in Division 1 and will play a wild card winner in the first round.
San Marcos is the number 2 seed out of the Channel League. The Royals will play Edison High School to open the postseason.
Dos Pueblos is the number 3 seed from the Channel League and the Chargers will play Laguna Beach in round one.
