Big Al Williams has a Career-Night After Missing Last 2 Games

After missing the last two games with back spasms, junior Alan Williams scored a career-high 39 points as UCSB beat South Dakota State 83-64.


Alan Williams is back in a record-tying way. The junior tied a school record and set a career-high with 39 points as UCSB routed South Dakota State 83-64.

Williams also tied the school record with eight blocks in the game and he also pulled down 9 rebounds as the Gauchos ran away from the Jackrabbits in the second half.

Williams had missed the previous two games due to back spasms.

The 3-2 Gauchos play at UCLA on Tuesday.
