Cal Poly Football Runs Wild in Season Opener

The Mustangs rushed for over 300 yards in a 38-16 victory over San Diego in Alex G. Spanos Stadium.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -

Kristaan Ivory gained 185 yards with three touchdowns to lead Cal Poly to a 38-16 season-opening win against San Diego. Ivory scored on runs of 81, 2 and 61 yards as the Mustangs rushed for over 300 yards in the game while holding San Diego to just over 100 yards on the ground.

Cal Poly has a huge challenge this Saturday as they play at Fresno State.
