The Los Angeles Dodgers added another arm to their pitching staff late Saturday night when they acquired right-hander Kevin Correia from the Minnesota Twins for a player to be named.

The Twins announced the deal after their game against the A's in Oakland, Calif.

The 33-year-old Correia is 5-13 in 23 starts this season with a 4.94 ERA, 32 walks and 61 strikeouts in 129 1/3 innings.

The Dodgers added Roberto Hernandez to their staff last week in a trade with the Philadelphia Phillies as they attempt to offset the loss of Josh Beckett for the remainder of the season.

The Twins recalled Tommy Milone from Triple-A Rochester to fill Correia's roster spot. Milone, acquired from the Athletics at the trade deadline last month for outfielder Sam Fuld, will start Monday for the Twins, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.
