The Chargers still have some good players left but they will need many players to adjust quickly to varsity football.

GOLETA, Calif. -

Dos Pueblos High School will take to the air more this season in high school football. The pass-catch combination of seniors Leshon Bell and Matt Sessler will lead the way for the Chargers offense.

DP will count heavily on senior Tyler Welch who will start at running back as well as free safety.

The Chargers have a good number of seniors but many of them do not have too much varsity game experience so they will have to adapt quickly for DP to make another run at a Channel League title. The offensive line lost plenty to graduation so the new unit will need to come together to protect Bell and open running lanes for Welch.

The Chargers open the year at Santa Ynez on Friday, August 30.
