Santa Monica scores game-winner on a wild pitch in a CIF Division 4 semifinal game.

GOLETA, Calif. -

Santa Monica's Denise Reynoso stole and then broke the hearts of Dos Pueblos High School. The pinch-runner swiped second and third base in the 11th inning and then raced home on a wild pitch giving the Vikings a 3-2 win in the CIF Division 4 semifinal contest in Goleta.

Chargers ace Veronika Gulvin struck out 16 batters before uncorking a rare wild pitch that allowed Reynoso to score the game-winner.

Dos Pueblos tied the game at two in the fifth inning on a suicide squeeze by Samantha Sander. The Chargers end the season with a sparkling 24-4-1 record.
