Former No.1 player in the world Tracy Austin came back to Ojai since she won two titles at The Ojai since 1978.

OJAI, Calif. -

Before becoming the world's No.1 women's tennis player at the age of 17, Tracy Austin won two tennis titles at The Ojai. Now 50 years old, Austin has returned to watch her son Brandon Holt play in this year's tournament.

Austin was the guest of honor on the first full day of tennis that features more than 1,500 players. Back in the late 1970's, she won two titles at The Ojai. At age 16 she became the youngest U.S. Open champion when she beat Chris Evert in the 1979 final.

The Ojai runs through Sunday.
