The Gauchos beat Hawaii 86-77 but the game is getting national attention after a fan confronted Hawaii's coach Gib Arnold on the court.

UC SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -

UCSB basketball is making national news after a fan came out of the Gauchos student section and charged at Hawaii head coach Gib Arnold. The fan was ejected and reportedly arrested. The fan is likely to be punished by UCSB and he could be expelled if he is a student.

The game was broadcast live on national television ESPNU.

As for the game, UCSB honored seniors Shawn Moore and Kyle Boswell before beating Hawaii 86-77.

The Gauchos improve to 20-8 on the year and are guaranteed at least the second seed in the upcoming Big West Conference Tournament.

Note: Some of the fan video had to be cut out of our internet broadcast due to ESPNU restrictions.
